Island’s Miracle Aromatherapy Essential Oil Diffuser

I was a huge fan of using oils and incense to add scented ambiance to a room for decades now, and it seems technology has caught up with me and I’ve learned that scented candles can be bad (fire hazards, soot and particulate matter), and the old method of oils on a tea light diffuser (oil and fire…what could go wrong?) has plenty of inherent risks, so what’s a gal to do?

Go with something fabulous like Island’s Miracle Essential Oil diffuser. It’s flame free, portable, electric, lightweight and works amazing. It has seven rotating LED colors, which can also be turned off to not have a disco effect to ruin a room’s ambiance. It’s virtually silent for an ultrasonic unit, and the scents fill a room quickly and completely. It has a built in six-hour timer, and an auto shutoff so one doesn’t use up the liquids and burn out the unit. I would like to be able to have a timer to set for less hours or for regular times on and off. But those are minor quibbles over what I consider a solid diffuser. It’s made well, and can blend into the background of any decor easily with the lights off. The room it’s in get’s filled with the scents of whatever oil you’ve chosen to use, and last for the entire day.

There’s quite a few diffusers on Amazon right now from various makers, most a slight variation of a single design. This unit from Island’s Miracle is unique looking, quite large (170ml), should easily fill up to a 500 sq. ft. room with scent, and it’s easy to clean. It’s competitively priced at $35.95 too. And with a “Risk-Free Money-Back Guarantee” attached, wherein if you’re unsatisfied with the product you just need to e-mail Island’s Miracle for a full refund, I don;t see a reason why you wouldn’t want to see if this Essential Oil Diffuser is for you, t00!

Ozeri Maestro Electric Wine Opener Kit

Ozeri Corporation Logo_full

Having tried out a few automatic wine openers in the past, I wasn’t sure if the newest version from Ozeri would be quite up to snuff. I was pleasantly surprised to find that everything I liked about my past wine openers, I liked even more from My new Ozeri Maestro.

To start, the fit and finish of this unit is superb. It looks simply amazing just sitting on my countertop. This new generation motor is a marked improvement from the last one, which with stubborn corks might sometimes destroy the cork or bind badly. Not with the Maestro, it powered through any tough to open cork we had, and didn’t obliterate it in the process. The second generation battery is also much better than the last, as we have yet to have to charge it after a couple weeks’ use. Another big plus is the big, bright LCD readout that tells you how much juice is left in the opener. Because nothing’s worse than going to use an electric appliance or gadget and it….just…..power……dooooown. That is a thing of the past with Ozeri’s Maestro.

But wait, there’s more! The Maestro has a built-in non contact thermometer that reads not just ambient room temperature, but the temperature of the wine itself! How cool is that? Don’t worry, the Maestro will tell you. The unit is decked out in a high polished stainless steel, with a matching stainless steel base, and an included foil cutter that tucks away neatly into the back of the charging base. It even comes in a high class black storage/gift box, for those special people in your life that can appreciate quality. And let me tell you, for folks with arthritis and grip issues, this Maestro is a god send. And because it’s Ozeri, you know they stand behind everything they sell 100%, so you can buy with confidence.

Ozeri Pro Electric Wine Bottle Opener

Ozeri Corporation Logo_full

While there isn’t a great deal of wine drinking done in this house, we do manage to work our way through a couple of bottles a month cooking with it. So we thought, who needs an electric wine opener? Uh, we do! Because now I can’t image doing it any other way!

Ozeri makes products we love, and to date we haven’t gotten a single product from them we didn’t adore. Even the ones we thought we’d use once and put away have become countertop staples. And the Ozeri Pro Electric Wine Opener  (model OW01A) is no different. Not only does it come with a foil cutter, but a aerating pourer and stopper as well! The ergonomic, one button unit has a fast motor that easily pulls the corks with destroying them, and it does it quickly and with no effort at all. It’ll open up to 40 bottles on a single charge, too. Available in a satin silver finish, it’s light in the hand but packs plenty of power! It has a built-in battery and comes with a charging base that takes up very little space. An unobtrusive LED indicator lets you know your Ozeri Wine Opener is charged and ready to go! And since it’s Ozeri, you know they’ll stand behind their product 100%.

Ozeri’s Pro Electric Wine Opener, is one of those products that you don’t know you need until you have it. I was impressed with the quality, construction, and the overall elegance of the product, and like I said, I don’t know how I got along without it before. I recommend this product highly!
