This is the end. Beautiful friends, the end of our Soul Journey

But I hope yours is just beginning.

Today is a sad day, friends and followers. Today is the day my Soul Journey comes to an end. Well, kind of. You see, Soul Journey Jewelry was so kind and so generous they sent a plethora of goodies to review. But alas, the day has come when I am reviewing the last of these gemological goodies. And don’t think for a minute the last is the least. In fact, it may be the most!

DSCN4528This one is a doozy, a wrap-style bracelet called Sweet Serenity, packed with amethyst, tiger’s eye, and Botswana agate faceted gems. We’ve covered the benefits of two of these three gems here, and here, so feel free to step into Wom-derful’s Way-Back Machine and take a peek at the bountiful benefits these gems may provide. Amethyst is new to this party, though. A type of quartz whose name dates back to the ancient Greeks, amethyst is a semi-precious stone often found in birthstone jewelry. Traditionally light violet to deep purple, it owes it’s color to irradiation and other trace “impurities” from surrounding rock. Thought to impart a sober mind, it is the stone of love that can carry the energy of fire, passion, creativity and spirituality, all the while tempering your moods with, well…Serenity.

DSCN4528bPacked together in one gorgeous 22″ long bracelet, it easily wraps around my wrist 3 times, or once around my neck! That’s right, this bracelet moonlights as a necklace (or is it a necklace that doubles as a bracelet?), so how you wear it is up to you. Hand-crafted to order in California, USA, by someone who clearly spent ample time on this labor of love. The golden braided nylon sets off the lavender amethyst, the browns and golds in the tiger’s eye, and the striated rainbow that is Botswana agate perfectly. The end “clasp” is even rocking a Botswana agate. How cool! Faceted gems from 6mm all the way up to 10mm, customized wearing options..I mean, what’s not to love?!

DSCN4526I want to take a minute here, though, to personally thank Soul Journey Jewelry and Jill Boylan for the opportunity to review and promote these pieces. I love to give a nudge to small businesses, and especially ones who work as hard and deserve your business, as Jill most certainly does. I’m sure if she wanted to do these “cheaper” and of lower quality, she could outsource her production to other countries, but she doesn’t. She keeps everything here is the U.S. and never skimps for a minute on the jewelry she’s making for you. If there was even one company I emplore you to support, it’s Soul Journey Jewelry. The world would be a better place if more people followed their example.

Nailtini: Head over Heels nail polish from Tinibeauty, The Lacquer Cabinet

IMAG0407

I do not enter contests often but when BeautyUndercover had a giveaway and I saw the colors, I signed up hoping to win. I did not even look the colors up because they were all gorgeous, so I figure I like heels, so I’ll go with the lacquer named Head over Heels.

I won and it’s a double win because I picked a fabulous color. Glitter nail polishes are beginning to blend in my head to the point I am shying away from picking any more up because I may own it already or a cousin like it. Head over Heels is in a class all it’s own and not attached to a season or even holiday. It’s beautiful and I love the ease of application. Head over Heels is a shade, which is part of the Limited Edition named Love, Roxie Collection.  The base is smooth and allows you to glide and disperse the flecks of glitter like you always imagined you would do, but once the brush hits the nail……well, I find myself dotting here and swiping there and even wiggling glitter off. It’s the game of take away, where I have some nails perfectly glitter-fied and others look neglected, so I apply more and then it goes too much the other way. I appreciate the smoothness with Nailtini’s formula, and the color in the bottle looks exactly as it should when applied. I now have harnessed glitter control powers!

I applied 2 coats and it dries fast, so you can set up quickly and bedazzle your nails at anytime of the day or night. You can apply straight from the bottle with no base color and because I’m Head over Heels when it comes to shoes…..my toes got a very needed pedicure.

On I went with finally coordinating my hands to my feet….not something that happens very often even though I mean to.

Check out The Lacquer Cabinet and the Nailtini collection of limited nail polishes to the everyday beauties we all like to wear. Shades are made in the USA and I love supporting a California Company!  The formulas last long and application is a cinch. I also have a little sugar to sweeten the deal because I believe in saving bucks! You can order below and use code BUC20OFF and order a single collection for 20% off, that makes it $20.00 and that includes shipping….so no funny stuff. The code expires on April 30, 2014.  You don’t waste gas going out and the box is delivered to your door…..now, if I could only get a hairstylist delivered the same way, I’d be golden!

You can find the limited editions to the everyday colors on:
